Singer-actor Tony Vincent, most recently seen on Broadway in American Idiot, will advance to the next round of NBC's reality singing competition "The Voice." He is on the team mentored by pop superstar Cee-Lo Green.

On the March 26 broadcast, Vincent competed against singer Justin Hopkins in the "battles" round. Following their performance of Journey's "Faithfully," Green chose Vincent as the winner.

The "live rounds" of "The Voice" will begin April 2. Other celebrity judges on "The Voice" include Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.

Vincent has also been seen on Broadway in Jesus Christ Superstar and Rent. The first season of "The Voice" featured Rent's Frenchie Davis, who made it to the semi-finals of the competition.
