Jonathan Groff Performed "Anything Goes," Constantine Maroulis Belted Out "And I Am Telling You" and More at Miscast

Jonathan Groff and the dancers from the Tony-winning revival of Anything Goes performing that musical's title number was one of the offerings at MCC Theater's Miscast gala, which was presented March 26 at the Hammerstein Ballroom. The annual benefit brings together Broadway stars to perform songs from shows and roles in which they'd never be cast. The repertoire for the evening, which was hosted by Lewis Black, follows:
Jonathan Groff- The Music that Makes Me Dance (Funny Girl) The evening also honored the authors of the musical Carrie —Academy Award-winning composer Michael Gore, Academy Award-winning lyricist Dean Pitchford and screenwriter Lawrence D. Cohen — for their "bold, daring, risk-taking spirit." |
