Sting, Elton John, Meryl Streep, Jennifer Hudson and More Take Part in Rainforest Fund's Carnegie Hall Gala April 3

The Rainforest Fund, co-founded by Grammy Award winner Sting and wife Trudie Styler, presents its 2012 benefit concert April 3 at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage.



The 7 PM performance, which will be followed by a gala dinner, features Sting, Elton John, James Taylor, Meryl Streep, Bryn Terfel, Rosanne Cash, Vince Gill, Bruno Mars, Channing Tatum and Jennifer Hudson, among others. The evening also includes live and silent auctions.

"We're so thankful for artists like Elton John, James Taylor, and the many others who are doing their part to support the Rainforest Fund in its quest to raise awareness of the global environmental crisis we're facing," said Styler in an earlier statement.
