David Ives' Tony-nominated two-hander Venus in Fur will play Hartford, CT, as part of TheaterWorks' 2012-13 season.

TheaterWorks has not set dates of production for the five-play season that is aiming to launch with Ives' steamy dramatic comedy, Venus in Fur.

Also planned are John Cariani's regional favorite Almost, Maine, a series of vignettes on life and love in a small town; Katori Hall's Olivier Award-winning play The Mountaintop, about an imagined encounter between a mysterious woman and Martin Luther King, Jr. on the eve of his death; and Donald Margulies' Tony-nominated Iraq War drama Time Stands Still, about two journalists coping with the aftermath of their time spent in a war zone.

A fifth title will be announced.

Rob Ruggiero is the artistic director of TheaterWorks, which performs at City Arts on Pearl, 233 Pearl Street in downtown Hartford, CT.
