Gavin Creel, Rory O'Malley, Andrew Keenan-Bolger and host of others representing Broadway Impact waved a banner in celebration of the 2012 NYC Gay Pride March on June 24. Playbill.com photographer Monica Simoes joined them along the 5th Avenue route.
Others on the scene included Cody Lancaster, Rebecca Faulkenberry, Chris Kong, Samantha Marie Ware, Anthony Hollock, Charles Socarides, Stephen Karam and Chris Perfetti.
This year's parade marked the first anniversary since same-sex marriage was legalized in New York. City Council Speaker Christine Quinn marched the entire 32-block route three times with her new spouse, Kim Catullo.
Broadway Impact is a non-profit organization composed of theatre artists and fans who support marriage equality. The organization was founded in 2008 by Tony-nominated performers Rory O'Malley (The Book of Mormon) and Gavin Creel (Hair) as well as production coordinator Jenny Kanelos.
