With 40,000 Tickets Sold, Arena Tour of Jesus Christ Superstar Adds a Fourth London Concert; Itinerary Announced

Following the sale of 40,000 tickets for the London leg of the U.K. arena tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's Jesus Christ Superstar, AEG and The Really Useful Group have announced an additional fourth concert to be held Sept. 23 at the O2 Arena.

Tickets for the fourth London show go on sale Aug. 3 at 9 AM London time by visiting jesuschristsuperstar.com/tickets.

As previously reported, the cast for the tour will be led by Tim Minchin as Judas Iscariot, Melanie C as Mary Magdalene, Chris Moyles as King Herod and Ben Forster as Jesus.

Directed by Laurence Connor, the production will feature set and lighting design by Mark Fisher and Patrick Woodroffe, respectively.
