By Michael Gioia
Labyrinth Theater Company co-artistic director Stephen Adly Guirgis (The Motherf**ker With the Hat), company members Lyle Kessler (Orphans) and John Patrick Shanley (Doubt), and actress-playwright Halley Feiffer (How To Make Friends And Then Kill Them) will present their new works as a part of the company's 13th annual Barn Series, beginning Sept. 14 at the Bank Street Theater in the West Village. Free and open to the public, the Barn Series provides Labyrinth playwrights "the vital opportunity to hear their latest works out loud and in front of an audience while still being deeply engaged in the delicate process of shaping and refining these dynamic new plays," according to press notes. Tickets are released on a first-come, first-served basis one hour before each reading. Here's the Barn Series lineup at a glance:
