Heidi Blickenstaff, Stephen Bogardus, Barbara Walsh, Liz Callaway Set for Bound for Broadway; Repertoire Announced

Casting has been announced for the Sept. 24 Bound for Broadway XII concert, part of Merkin Concert Hall's Broadway Close Up series. The 7:30 PM event, hosted by Tony nominee Liz Callaway, will give theatre lovers sneak peeks at several new shows. Callaway will interview the writers of five new shows, who will share selections from their work. Shows include Watt?!, a new musical about James Watt, U.S. Secretary of the Interior under Ronald Reagan; The Dogs of Pripyat, about dogs left behind after the Chernobyl meltdown; The Great American Mousical, based on the book by Julie Andrews and her daughter, Emma Walton Hamilton; a two-actor murder mystery performed by two pianists, Murder for Two; and Rocket Science, based on a film about a high school student with a stutter who joins the debate team. Currently scheduled to be part of the evening are Jill Abramovitz, Aron Accurso, Sean Attebury, Hunter Bell, Kellen Blair, Heidi Blickenstaff, Stephen Bogardus, Alex Brightman, Andy Einhorn, Noah Galvin, Alexander Gemigniani, Zina Goldrich, Marcy Heisler, Gwen Hollander, David Javerbaum, Joe Kinosian, Martin Landry, Janice Mays Landry, Ken Marks, Brendan Millburn, Jeremy Morse, Lea Nardi, Adam Overett, Larry Pressgrove, Jason Rhyne, Aaron Riesebeck, William Ryall, Kristin Tarczynski, Barbara Walsh, Jason “SweetTooth” Williams and Keith White. The repertoire for the evening follows:
