Let Her Entertain You: Bernadette Peters Will Headline Price Center's 22nd Annual Gala

Two-time Tony winner Bernadette Peters, who was most recently seen on Broadway in the award-winning revival of Follies, will headline the 22nd annual gala to benefit The Price Center, a regional leader in providing care to adults with developmental disabilities. The gala will be held Oct. 5 at the Marriott Copley Place hotel in Newton, MA. Peters will be backed by a 10-piece band as she performs from the American Songbook and other well-known classics. The evening, which will also feature doo-wop group the G-Clefs, will honor James T. Brett, president and CEO of The New England Council. Prior to Follies, Bernadette Peters was last on Broadway in the revival of A Little Night Music. She received a 2003 Tony Award nomination for her performance as Rose in the Sam Mendes-directed revival of Gypsy. Peters won her two Tonys for her performances in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Song & Dance and Irving Berlin's Annie Get Your Gun, and she has also starred on Broadway in Mack & Mabel, On the Town, Sunday in the Park with George, The Goodbye Girl and the original production of Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods.
