Out100 List Includes Jordan Roth, Jane Lynch, Andrew Rannells, Jon Robin Baitz and More

Out Magazine's 2012 Out100 list hits newsstands Nov. 20. A host of theatre folk are included in the list of inspiring and influential individuals.



The annual list celebrates LGBT individuals who made headlines and contributed to positive messages within the gay community in 2012.

The list includes Taboo composer Boy George; Book of Mormon Tony Award nominee Andrew Rannells; "Glee" star Jane Lynch; Billy Elliot and Lion King composer Elton John and his husband David Furnish; Other Desert Cities playwright Jon Robin Baitz; Tony-winning Clybourne Park producer Jordan Roth; Tony-winning Chicago director Walter Bobbie; actor Matthew Wilkas; musician and actress Amanda Palmer; Macy's Parade creative director and grand marshal Bill Schermerhorn and Amy Kule; "Ugly Betty" star Michael Urie; Olivier Award-winning actor Simon Callow; Tony Award-winning Master Class playwright Terrence McNally; Tony Award-winning Once director John Tiffany; original Spring Awakening cast member Gideon Glick; and Fun Home original source material author, comic book storyteller Alison Bechdel.
