Looped Tour Will Feature Matthew Montelongo, Alongside Valerie Harper and Brian Hutchison

Matthew Montelongo will join the national tour of Looped starring the previously announced four-time Emmy Award winner and Tony Award nominee Valerie Harper and Brian Hutchison. Montelongo will play the third character of "Steve," the sound technician.



Performances begin at The Bushnell in Hartford, CT, Jan. 24, 2013. Rob Ruggiero directs, as he did on Broadway, the story of a recording session in the final weeks in the life of actress Tallulah Bankhead. Harper and Hutchison recreate their Broadway work, for which she was Tony-nominated as Best Actress in a Play. Montelongo's Broadway credits include A View From the Bridge and The Ritz. Off-Broadway he has performed at The Public, The Vineyard Theatre, Roundabout Theatre Company, Rattlestick and regionally he has appeared in productions at The Signature Theatre, Westport Country Playhouse, Woolly Mammoth, The Alliance Theatre, Folger Theatre, Hartford Stage, Saint Louis Rep and The Old Globe.

Hartford performances are Tuesday through Thursday at 7:30 PM; Friday at 8 PM; Saturdays at 2 PM & 8 PM; and Sundays at 1:30 PM and 6:30 PM.
