Van Dyke, who won the Tony Award in 1961 for his performance in Bye Bye Birdie, has also been seen on Broadway in The Girls Against the Boys and The Music Man as well as in Chita Rivera: The Dancer's Life as a guest star. Van Dyke is known for his work in such films as "Mary Poppins," "Bye Bye Birdie" and "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" as well as his television show, "The Dick Van Dyke Show."
