PHOTO CALL: Highlights from Playbill's Broadway on the High Seas 2 — The Sights and Onboard Life

Playbill's Broadway on the High Seas 2, a ten-day cruise through Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil, sailed and sang its way through South America this month. The Dec. 6-16 excursion welcomed guest performers Christine Ebersole, Sherie Rene Scott, Marin Mazzie, Jason Danieley, Lewis Black and Seth Rudetsky. Playbill columnist and Sirius/XM host Seth Rudetsky served as musical director and offered such evenings as Chatterbox and Trivia. Also onboard were Playbill Publisher and President Philip Birsh and Editor Blake Ross.
The full schedule of the port of calls follows: The ten-day luxury cruise, a partnership with Regent Seven Seas Cruises, has become a hit with hundreds of theatre-loving travelers since its inaugural voyage in September 2011. The third installment of the popular trip will make stops in Stockholm, Turku, Helsinki (Finland), St. Petersburg (Russia), Tallinn (Estonia), Riga (Latvia), Visby (Sweden) and Berlin (Germany) with the trip ending in Copenhagen (Denmark) on Aug. 14, 2013. Broadway on the High Seas launched in September 2011 with a trip through the Mediterranean that featured Tony winners Brian Stokes Mitchell, Christine Ebersole, Andrea Martin and Debra Monk as well as Playbill.com columnist Seth Rudetsky. |
