Justin Sayre's The Meeting*, a Tribute to Karen Carpenter, Will Feature Heather MacRae and Gay Marshall

Heather MacRae and Gay Marshall will join Justin Sayre for the March 14 presentation of The Meeting*, dedicated to late recording star Karen Carpenter, at the Duplex.



The gay variety show dedicates each new installment to a different icon; show times are 7 PM and 9:30 PM.

MacRae (Falsettos) and Marshall (Jacques Brel...) will perform some of Carpenter's signature songs during the evening. Tracy Stark will serve as musical director.

Upcoming subjects include the cult camp movie "Showgirls (April 18) and Tony Award nominee Justin Vivian Bond (May 16).

The Meeting* is a monthly "gay romp through politics (sexual and otherwise), social news, music, comedy skits, and other important life-changing information."
