"Les Misérables" film star Aaron Tveit's New York City cabaret debut at 54 Below has sold out in record time. The latest block of tickets, which went on sale to e-mail subscribers April 3, sold out the remaining performances within five minutes.

Tickets for the initial four-performance engagement went on sale to 54 Below e-mail subscribers April 2 – nearly selling out the entire engagement, which was initially scheduled for May 3, 11, 17 and 18 at 11 PM.

In response, 54 Below added two performances to Tveit's run on May 9 at 9:30 PM and May 10 at 11 PM. All remaining tickets, in addition to seats to the added shows, went on sale April 3 at noon, selling out in less than five minutes, according to a post on 54 Below's official Facebook page.

The venue's website also indicates that all performances are now sold out.

"We have never experienced the demand that we experienced for Aaron Tviet's show," 54 Below management said in an e-mail to customers who were unable to obtain tickets in the initial pre-sale offer. The intimate venue has a seating capacity of 150 patrons per performance.

According to 54 Below, "Mixing Broadway with pop, childhood favorites with contemporary sounds, and superstar vocals with charismatic good looks, Tveit's cabaret debut will have them talking for years."

Tveit most recently starred as Enjolras in the Golden Globe Award-winning film of "Les Misérables." In addition to creating the role of Frank Abagnale, Jr. in the Broadway premiere of Catch Me If You Can, Tveit also originated the role of Gabe in the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical Next to Normal. He also appeared on Broadway in Wicked and Hairspray.

There is a $30-$40 cover and a $25 food and beverage minimum. 54 Below is located at 254 W. 54th Street. Visit 54Below.com.
