THE SCREENING ROOM: Celebrating Pippin From Jackson Five to Diana Ross, Broadway and Beyond (Video)
By Playbill Staff
The Broadway revival of Pippin, starring Matthew James Thomas and Patina Miller, opens April 25 at the Music Box Theatre.
This new incarnation of Roger O. Hirson and Stephen Schwartz's dark and groovy coming-of-age musical premiered at the American Repertory Theater, where Tony Award nominee Diane Paulus (Hair, Porgy and Bess) is artistic director, last fall. The staging incorporates circus choreography and acrobatics by Snider of the Montreal-based circus company Les 7 doigts de la main (7 Fingers).
Playbill.com is celebrating Pippin's return with a collection of videos from various stage and concert performances.
