Marilu Henner, Marsha Mason, David Garrison and Lynn Cohen will star in Charles Busch's The Tale of the Allergist's Wife, the final production of the 2013 Bucks County Playhouse season, beginning Aug. 15 in New Hope, PA.

"This amazing cast, which now includes the fabulous Marilu Henner, is the perfect ending to what is sure to be an incredible summer season at the Bucks County Playhouse," said BCP producing director Jed Bernstein in a statement.

Four-time Tony Award winner Boyd Gaines will direct Golden Globe nominee Henner ("Taxi," Broadway's The Tale of the Allergist's Wife), Oscar nominee Mason ("Heartbreak Ridge," "The Goodbye Girl," Impressionism), Tony nominee Garrison (A Day in Hollywood/A Night in the Ukraine) and Cohen (Ivanov, Orpheus Descending) in the limited engagement, which will run through Sept. 1 at the Bucks County Playhouse.

The complete cast and creative team will be announced at a later date.

This Tony-nominated play by Charles Busch, according to BCP, "follows Marjorie Taub, a middle-aged Upper West Side doctor's wife who is plunged into a mid-life crisis on an epic scale when a former childhood friend reappears."

The Bucks County Playhouse is located at 70 South Main Street in New Hope, PA. For more information and tickets, call (215) 862-2121 or visit BCPTheater.org.
