2013 Tony Awards Spotlight: The Playbills

In preparation for the 67th Annual Tony Awards, the Playbill Vault has compiled the opening night Playbills from each of this year's Tony-nominated plays, musicals and revivals.

BEST PLAY

The Assembled Parties, by Richard Greenberg

Greenberg's new play also features Tony-nominated work from actress Judith Light and set designer Santo Loquasto. Read the Playbill here.

Lucky Guy, by Nora Ephron

The posthumous production's six Tony nominations include nods for actors Tom Hanks and Courtney B. Vance and director George C. Wolfe. Read the Playbill here.

The Testament of Mary, by Colm Tóibín

In addition to Best Play, the production received nominations for Lighting Design of a Play (Jennifer Tipton) and Sound Design of a Play (Mel Mercier). Read the Playbill here.

Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, by Christopher Durang

The play earned six nominations including nods for lead actors David Hyde Pierce and Kristine Nielsen and featured actors Billy Magnussen and Shalita Grant. Read the Playbill here.

Bring It On: The Musical

A Christmas Story, the Musical

The new musical earned additional Tony noms for Book of a Musical (Joseph Robinette) and Original Score (Benj Pasek and Justin Paul). Read the Playbill here.

Kinky Boots

Its 13 Tony nominations include music and lyrics by Cyndi Lauper, book by Harvey Fierstein, and performances from Billy Porter, Stark Sands, and Annaleigh Ashford. Read the Playbill here.

Matilda the Musical

BEST REVIVAL OF A PLAY

Golden Boy, by Clifford Odets

The 75th-anniversary revival of Golden Boy earned eight Tony nominations, including nods for featured actors Danny Burstein and Tony Shalhoub and director Bartlett Sher. Read the Playbill here.

The Trip to Bountiful, by Horton Foote

Annie
