O'Neill Center's Cabaret Conference to Feature Tommy Tune and Donna McKechnie

Tony award winners Tommy Tune, Donna McKechnie and the British singer-songwriter Barb Jungr will perform during the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center's Cabaret and Performance Conference in August.
"I'm thrilled to be a part of my first Cabaret & Performance Conference, and hope that you will enjoy the variety of artists converging upon the O'Neill this summer," said Conference artistic director John McDaniel in a statement. 'Come Fly With Me' as we journey together through a series of evenings, all of which I hope will delight, inspire, and entertain on this gorgeous campus."
Junger will kick off the conference with her new show, Same Place: Another Time, she will be joined by Tracy Stark on the piano Aug. 1; Jeff Harner, Jenifer Sheehan, Nicholas King and Linda Hart will pay tribute in Come Fly With Me: The Music of Sammy Cahn & Jimmy Van Heusen, directed by McDaniel, Aug. 2; Ben Rimalower will perform Patti Issues Aug. 3.
Also on the bill is An Evening with Wesla Whitfield and Mike Greensill, Aug. 4; McKechnie will perform her new show Same Place: Another Time, Aug 6; directed by Brad Simmons, the Junior Fellows will present a set of Stevie Wonder's music, Aug 7.
The Conference will wind up with a performance by the Cabaret Fellows on Aug. 8 and Tune's Taps, Tunes, and Tall Tales, Aug. 9. The conference will end with a Grand Finale on Saturday evening, Aug. 11.
The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center was founded in 1964 and is based in Waterford, CT. Programs at the Center include the Puppetry Conference, Playwrights Conference, Critics Institute, Music Theater Conference and the National Theater Institute. The Monte Cristo Cottage, O'Neill's childhood home, is also owned and operated by the group.
