Director, choreographer, actor and dancer Robert Louis Fosse, known as Bob Fosse, would have turned 86 on June 23.

Fosse was known for his dances in shows including The Pajama Game, Sweet Charity, Chicago, Pippin and Dancin' as well as the movies "Sweet Charity" and "Cabaret."

A revue titled Fosse, showcasing his work, was conceived and directed by Richard Maltby, Jr. and Ann Reinking and choreographed by Reinking and Chet Walker. The current revival of Pippin, choreographed by Chet Walker, is credited as "being in the style of Bob Fosse."
