The London premiere run of Paul Boyd's musical Molly Wobby's Tit Factory is to begin performances at Hackney Empire Sept. 20 prior to an official opening Sept. 22, for a run through Oct. 5.

Originally premiered at the Lyric Theatre Belfast and subsequently at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival last year, it features a score of 22 original songs. In the show, the town of Little Happening gets an unexpected make-over when a devious and creepy stranger arrives on Mammary Lane promising personal improvement to three unhappy women.

The composer and writer Paul Boyd will direct a cast that comprises Gary Wilmot (Malcolm), Sophie-Louise Dann (Margaret), David Hunter (Kitten), Shona White (Jemma), Conleth Kane (Jake), Stephanie Fearon (Ruth), Christopher Finn (Robbie), and Russell Morton (Ithanku).

Wilmot was seen in the title role of The Invisible Man at London's Menier Chocolate Factory in 2010. West End credits include Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Carmen Jones, Me and My Girl and Chicago.

Dann recently starred as Dot in Sunday In The Park With George at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris and was Mrs. Beaver in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe directed by Rupert Goold last year.

Hunter was a finalist in the TV's "Superstar!" to find an actor to star in the arena stage tour of Jesus Christ Superstar and was recently seen on stage in Howard Goodall's The Hired Man at Colchester and Leicester.

Boyd has written 20 musicals and is also the composer and co-creator of The Little Mermaid and Sinbad, two water spectaculars which have been seen worldwide.
