Flea Theater's Fall Season to Include World Premiere by A.R. Gurney and New Play About Olsen Twins
By Carey Purcell
The Flea Theater has announced its fall season.
The lineup includes Sarah Flood in Salem Mass, a new play about the events leading up to the Salem witch trials, and the world premiere of Family Furniture, a new work by A.R. Gurney.
The Flea's smaller downstairs space will be home to Jonathan Caren's play The Recommendation, about a friendship troubled by issues of race, class and wealth, and Mary-Kate Olsen is in Love, by Mallery Avidon (queerSpawn), which follows an unhappily married young woman who conjures up the actors-turned-celebrities Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen as a means of escape.
