Avenue Q opened its 2,534-performance run on Jul. 31, 2003. The long-running musical comedy played Off-Broadway's Vineyard Theatre before transferring to Broadway, where it won the 2004 Tony Award for Best Musical, and later moved to its current home - New World Stages.
