The new album by stage and screen actor Aaron Tveit, "The Radio in My Head: Live at 54 Below," which was recorded during his sold-out engagements at the nightlife venue last spring, is released digitally Sept. 6 by Broadway Records.
"Les Misérables" film star Tveit's six-performance New York City cabaret debut at 54 Below sold out in record time last May. The album will arrive in stores Sept. 10.
According to album details, "Mixing Broadway with pop, childhood favorites with contemporary sounds, and superstar vocals with charismatic good looks, Tveit's cabaret debut will have them talking for years."
The album is produced by Michael J. Moritz, Jr. and executive-produced by Grammy nominees Van Dean, Kenny Howard, of The Broadway Consortium, and Ken Mahoney.
Tveit most recently starred as Enjolras in the Golden Globe Award-winning film of "Les Misérables." In addition to creating the role of Frank Abagnale, Jr. in the Broadway premiere of Catch Me If You Can, Tveit also originated the role of Gabe in the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical Next to Normal.
