By Adam Hetrick
Michael McCormick, Ben Steinfeld, Donald Corren and Zoë Winters head the cast of John Murray and Allen Boretz's Room Service, which begins performances Oct. 8 at the Westport Country Playhouse.

According to Westport, "Set in a second-rate Times Square hotel room, Room Service tells of Gordon Miller, who has finally discovered a formula for Broadway success: be bold, brash, and option a brilliant script by a promising young writer. What he hasn’t discovered is a willing financial backer. As behind-the-scenes business of putting on a play becomes more frenetic, one wonders if the show will ever go on."
In addition to Steinfeld (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, Cyrano de Bergerac) as Gordon Miller, McCormick (Chaplin, Curtains) as Gregory Wagner, Corren (Souvenir) as Dr. Glass and Winters (4000 Miles) as Christine Marlowe, the cast features David Beach (Mamma Mia!) as Joseph Gribble, Jim Bracchitta (The House of Blue Leaves) as Harry Binion, Eric Bryant (Angels in America) as Leo David, Richard Ruiz (Sweet Charity) as Faker Englund, Hayley Treider (Double Falsehood) as Hilda Manney, Frank Vlastnik (Big) as Bank Messenger/Simon Jenkins/Timothy Hogarth and Peter Von Berg (Uncle Vanya) as Sasha Smirnoff/Senator Blake.
