Into the Woods Star Chip Zien Will Make 54 Below Debut in December

Chip Zien, who created the role of the Baker in the original Broadway production of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Into the Woods, will make his cabaret debut at 54 Below in December.
The singing actor, who also played Mendel in William Finn's Falsettos, will play the intimate nightspot Dec. 5 and 11 at 9:30 PM. Doors open at 8:45 PM.
Attendees, according to 54 Below, can "expect tunes that trace his brilliant stage career, including special personal favorites from shows that include Grand Hotel, Merrily, Sweeney Todd, The Big Knife and 'The Dean Martin Show,' among many others. Join Chip and his oversized band for two very special performances only – no more riddles, no more jests!"
