By Adam Hetrick
Tony Award nominee Patrick Wilson has joined the cast of the one-night-only benefit presentation of Ethan Lipton's Tumacho, which will be performed Dec. 16 at Classic Stage Company.
Presented as a benefit for the Obie Award-winning Clubbed Thumb theatre company, Tumacho will be directed by Tony Award winner Pam MacKinnon (Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Dinner With Friends). Tumacho will be presented at Classic Stage Company's 13th Street Theatre.
In addition to Wilson (Oklahoma!, The Full Monty, "Angels in America"), the 7:30 PM reading will feature Tony winner Christian Borle (Peter and the Starcatcher), Tony nominee Celia Keenan-Bolger (The Glass Menagerie), Tony nominee Kristine Nielsen (Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike), Tony nominee Richard Kind (The Big Knife), Tony nominee John Ellison Conlee (The Full Monty) and Golden Globe Award winner America Ferrera ("Ugly Betty").
Here's how it's billed: "In a small frontier town in the Old West, the people are dropping like flies at the hands of Big Bill Yardley. But when Tumacho rolls back into town, all the rules will change."
Lipton's works include the acclaimed No Place to Go as well as Red-Handed Otter and Luther.
Tickets range $100-$125. For tickets click here.
