54 Sings Launches Dec. 8 with Mame, Featuring Leslie Uggams, Klea Blackhurst, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka, Beth Leavel, Annie Golden

The Manhattan cabaret 54 Below launches its new series, 54 Sings, Dec. 8 at 7 PM and 9:30 PM with songs from the classic Jerry Herman musical Mame.

The series will continue Feb. 9, 2014, and March 9 with selections from, respectively, Smokey Joe's Café and Side Show.

"Re-live the hit songs from these groundbreaking shows, performed by some of the best in the biz-sometimes by the very voices for whom they were written," according to press notes.

The It's Today… 54 Sings Mame evening features Tony winner Leslie Uggams, Tony winner Beth Leavel, Klea Blackhurst, Donna Lynne Champlin, Eric Michael Gillett, Annie Golden, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka, Dee Hoty, Pamela Myers and Lee Roy Reams.

Performers for On Broadway: 54 Sings Smokey Joe’s Cafe will include Adrian Bailey, Deb Lyons, Brenda Braxton, Frederick Owens, DeLee Lively and Darryl Williams.

The cast for I Will Never Leave You: 54 Sings Side Show will be announced at a later date.
