Tonya Pinkins, Beth Leavel, Carolee Carmello, Aaron Lazar and More to Sing Broadway Musicals of 1915-1939 at Town Hall

The Town Hall's 2014 Broadway by the Year series will launch Feb. 24 with The Broadway Musicals of 1915-1939, featuring Tonya Pinkins, Beth Leavel, Carolee Carmello, Aaron Lazar, Stephanie J. Block and more.
As previously reported, each of the four concerts in the 14th season of Broadway by the Year will celebrate a quarter of a century of Broadway tunes, including songs from A Chorus Line, Annie Get Your Gun, Babes in Arms, Brigadoon, Cabaret, Candide, Dreamgirls, Follies, Funny Girl, Girl Crazy, Gypsy, Guys & Dolls, Into the Woods, La Cage aux Folles, Lady Be Good and Kiss Me, Kate, among others.
In addition to Pinkins, Leavel, Carmello, Lazar and Block, the 8 PM evening will feature Karen Akers, Emily Skinner, Julia Murney, Kerry O'Malley, Lari White, Noah Racey, Camille Saviola, Howard Fishman and Carole J. Bufford.

The Broadway Musicals of 1940-1964: March 31 at 8 PM
The Broadway Musicals of 1965-1989: May 12 at 8 PM
The Broadway Musicals of 1990-2014: June 23 at 8 PM
In all, 100 years of Broadway musicals will be performed by 100 theatre artists. The evenings will feature music direction by Ross Patterson.
