Morning's at Seven concerns the doings of four Midwestern sisters (Franz, Laurie, Sternhagen and Wilson) and three of their husbands (including Henry and McGuire), all in their golden years, as well as Sternhagen's middle-aged son, Homer (Tobolowsky), and his longtime fiancee (Hagerty). The title is taken from a Robert Browning poem that includes the line, "Morning's at seven/God's in his heaven/All's right with the world."

2002 Tony Award nominee Daniel Sullivan (Proof) returns to the direct Morning's in Los Angeles. The rest of the acting company includes Lorraine Michaels, Tom Carey, Maree Cheatham, Linda Marie Larson and David Manis.

Morning's at Seven was nominated for the 2002 Best Revival of a Play Tony, but lost to Private Lives. Private Lives and Fortune's Fool were the other two plays the Ahmanson was considering for the holiday run, but the theatre settled on Morning's.

Tickets are $30-$60. For reservations, call (213) 628-2772. The Ahmanson Theatre is on the web at http://www.TaperAhmanson.com.
