PHOTO CALL: Barbra's Wedding: People Who Need Famous People

February 11, 2003

John Pankow and Julie White star in Barbra's Wedding, the playwriting debut of Daniel Stern. David Warren directs.

Barbra's Wedding is a madcap, comic reflection on the media culture of celebrity. The production has scheduled its first preview for Feb. 11 at the Westside Theatre. In the comedy, Jerry Schiff (played by Pankow) lives next door to the ultra-famous Barbra Streisand; she is getting married and he has not been invited. Julie White plays his wife.
