Primary Stages Presents World Premiere of Romola and Nijinsky, May 15-June 1

Primary Stages presents the world premiere of Romola and Nijinsky (Deux Mariages) at their midtown Manhattan space, May 15-June 1. The production began performances April 30. Robert La Fosse provides choreography for the production. La Fosse is a former principal dancer with the American Ballet Theatre and New York City Ballet. As a performer, he garnered a Tony nomination for his turn in Jerome Robbins' Broadway. David Barlow stars as Nijinsky opposite Kelly Hutchinson as Romola. The company also include Allen Fitzpatrick, Michelle Lookadoo, Laura Martin, John McAdams, Daniel Oreskes and Janet Zarish. The design team for Romola and Nijinsky features Michael Byrnes (set), Lap Chi Chu (lights), Claudia Stephens (costumes) and Jane Shaw (sound).
