Mamma Mia! Star Offers Evening of New Composers Dec. 1

Michael Winther, who currently co-stars in the Broadway company of Mamma Mia!, will go it solo Dec. 1 at the King Kong Room. On Broadway, Michael Winther has appeared in 1776, The Crucible, Artist Descending a Staircase and Damn Yankees, while his Off-Broadway credits include Hapgood, Berlin to Broadway, Forever Plaid, Predator's Ball and the original cast of Tony 'n' Tina's Wedding. Winther has worked at regional theatres throughout the country, and his film and TV credits include "Independence Day," "Universal Soldier," "Law & Order," "Mary & Rhoda," "NY News," "Rocket Power" and "Wild Thornberrys." There is a $20 cover charge and a $15 food-drink minimum for the Dec. 1 concert; show time is 7 PM. The King Kong Room is located within the Supper Club at 240 West 47th Street.
