PHOTO CALL: Winter Comes Early; New Mee Play has Pre-Opening Party

The cast and creative team of the new play Wintertime, by Charles L. Mee, gathered together for a party to celebrate the production prior to its official opening night on Mar. 2.

Wintertime is being premiered by Second Stage Theatre (in a co-production with the McCarter Theatre) at their main facility on 8th Avenue and 43rd Street in New York City.

Among the people at the event were lead actors Marsha Mason and Michael Cerveris, seen at left above guests Harris Yulin and Penny Fuller (herself enjoying a run Off-Broadway in the Vineyard's Beautiful Child). Below, director David Schweizer and playwright Charles L. Mee (Big Love, bobrauschenbergamerica) are seen at the event, hosted by the West Bank Cafe.

The production is directed by David Scheizer, with settings by Andrew Lieberman, lights by Kevin Adams, costumes by David Zinn, and sound by Eric Shim. Wintertime is scheduled to run through Mar. 21.
