Beauty and the Beast, the first in a string of wildly succesful film-to-musical adaptations of Disney films, celebrated it's tenth year on Broadway on April 18.

Originally opening at Broadway's Palace Theatre with stars Susan Egan and Terrence Mann, Beauty and the Beast was nominated for nine Tony Awards in 1994, winning for Ann Hould-Ward's costume design.
