Caroline's Cox, Taboo's Carlson in Lavery's Easter at MCC This Fall

Veanne Cox, Jeffrey Carlson, Clea Lewis and Florencia Lozano will star in MCC Theatre's world premiere of Bryony Lavery's Last Easter, set for a Sept. 15-Oct. 23 run at the Lucille Lortel Theatre. Cox, now in Broadway's Caroline, or Change, will play June, a lighting designer. Carlson, who played a drag queen in Taboo, is Gash, a singer and female impersonator. Lewis, who was in the cast of Woody Allen's Writer's Block, will be Heather, a prop maker. Lazano will play Joy, an actress. A fifth role of a stage technician, Howie, is yet to be cast.
