Susan Egan to Sing in Lord of the Rings Concert

Susan Egan, most recently on Broadway in Thoroughly Modern Millie, will be part of the Hollywood Bowl's The Lord of the Rings Symphony concert Sept. 21. Howard Shore is a three-time Academy Award winner for his scores for the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. He won a 2001 Oscar for Best Score for "Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" as well as two 2003 Oscars for "Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" (Original Score and Original Song, "Into the West"). Susan Egan received Tony and Drama Desk Award nominations for her work in Beauty and the Beast, and her other theatre credits include Thoroughly Modern Millie, Cabaret, Triumph of Love, Putting It Together and Hello Again. Her debut solo recording was titled "So Far" and includes tunes from her many theatrical outings. Her new recording is titled "Coffee House." The Hollywood Bowl is located at 2301 N.
