Everett Bradley to Reprise Swing! Role for North Shore; Complete Cast Announced

Everett Bradley, who starred in the 1999 Broadway musical Swing!, will also be part of the cast of the North Shore Music Theatre's upcoming production.

Bradley will join Stacia Fernandez, Rick Hilsabeck, Davis Kirby and Erica Piccinnini for the dance musical, which plays the Massachusetts Theatre Sept. 21-Oct. 10. Richard Stafford will direct and choreography the company, which also features Matthew Bedell, Beverly Durand, Mark Eckstein, Parker Esse, Anya Fuchs, Benito Garcia, Michelle Goudette, Kitty Skillman Hilsabeck, Bernard Jackson, Jennifer Jones, Jason Marquette, Carolyn Ockert, Pamela Otterson and Jonathan Stahl.

The creative team for Swing! comprises Darren Cohen (music director), Howard Jones (scenic designer), Jay Woods (costume designer), Kendall Smith (lighting designer), Gerard Kelly (wig designer), John A. Stone (sound designer), Erik E. Hedblom (production stage manager) and Matt Schreiber (casting).

Swing! features the music of Duke Ellington, Johnny Mercer, Benny Goodman, Count Basie and Jerome Kern. A host of dance styles are also part of the evening, including Jive, Latin Swing, Lindy Hop and Hip-Hop Swing. The original Broadway production played 461 regular performances and 43 previews at the St. James Theatre.

Everett Bradley made his Broadway debut in Swing! and also starred Off-Broadway in the long-running sensation Stomp. He topped the European charts with his dance classic "I Luv U Baby," and his debut solo recording is entitled "As Ever It Is."
