Lynn Redgrave to Perform Nightingale Oct. 7

Award-winning actress Lynn Redgrave will star in the Oct. 7 reading of her new one-woman play for the Food for Thought reading series. A two-time Tony Award nominee for her performances in Mrs. Warren’s Profession and Shakespeare for My Father, Lynn Redgrave has also starred on Broadway in Moon Over Buffalo, The Master Builder, A Little Hotel on the Side, Love Letters, Sweet Sue, Aren’t We All?, Saint Joan, Knock Knock, My Fat Friend and Black Comedy/White Lies. Equally at home on screen, Redgrave received Academy Award nominations for her work in “Gods and Monsters” and “Georgy Girl.” Food for Thought Lunch Hour Theatre — run by artistic director Susan Charlotte — plays the National Arts Club, located in Manhattan at 15 Gramercy Park South.
