PHOTO CALL: Public Ponders The Last Days of Judas Iscariot at the Hands of Guirgis

Popular young playwright Stephen Adly Guirgis (Our Lady of 121st Street) saw his latest work, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, receive its world premiere under the direction of Philip Seymour Hoffman at New York's Public Theater on March 2.

The play dumps Judas Iscariot, Jesus of Nazareth and many other key biblical figures into a courtroom setting as they analyze the situation that led to Judas' ultimate betrayal of the Messiah.
