Good Girl Debby Boone Is Torn Between Two Lovers in North Carolina Theatre's Camelot Sept. 10-18

Debby Boone will light up the lives of King Arthur and Sir Lancelot in North Carolina Theatre's September staging of Camelot, Playbill.com has learned. Julie Andrews originated the role on Broadway. Boone is the daughter of crooner Pat Boone, and had a hit with the pop song "You Light Up My Life." Stephen Terrell is directing the Raleigh, NC, production of Camelot, by Moss Hart, Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe, drawn from T.H. White's novel, "The Once and Future King." Casting for the male principal roles is not yet public. Performances play Sept. 10-18. Performances are at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium in the BTi Center for the Performing Arts.
