Wicked's Menzel Adds Boston and Vineyard Dates to Summer Concert Schedule

In addition to her upcoming concerts in Provincetown, Tony Award winner Idina Menzel will now also offer concerts in Boston and Martha's Vineyard.

As previously announced, the rock-flavored songstress will play the Provincetown Theater Aug. 18-20 at 9 PM and Aug. 21 at 8 PM. She will then sing at the Regatta Bar at Boston's Charles Hotel Aug. 26 and 27 at 7:30 and 10 PM. Menzel has also booked an evening at Martha's Vineyard's Hot Tin Roof Sept. 4 at 9 PM.

Idina Menzel won a Tony Award for Leading Actress in a Musical for her work as Elphaba in Wicked. She created the role of Maureen in the original Broadway company of Rent, and her other theatrical credits include the City Center Encores! production of Hair, the Manhattan Theatre Club The Wild Party and the benefit Funny Girl concert. Menzel also recently completed filming the new motion picture "Ask the Dust" and will also be seen reprising her role of Maureen in the upcoming film of "Rent."
