All Shook Up, Lennon, Lion King and 20th Century Peek Close "Broadway in Bryant Park," Aug. 18

Broadway stars from All Shook Up, Lennon and The Lion King as well as a preview of the upcoming Actors' Fund On The Twentieth Century concert closes out the summer series "Broadway in Bryant Park," Aug. 18.

Radio station 106.7 Lite FM presents the free lunchtime series "Broadway in Bryant Park," featuring current and upcoming stageshows and artists performing showtunes at the midtown green. Continuing every Thursday through Aug. 18, the series plays at the park from 12:30 PM to approximately 1:30 PM.

All Shook Up's Jenn Gambatese, Leah Hocking, Sharon Wilkins, Paul Castree, and Cheyenne Jackson join The Lion King's Josh Toweras and Kissy Simmons with the complete cast of Lennon (Will Chase, Chuck Cooper, Julie Danao-Salkin, Mandy Gonzalez, Marcy Harriell, Chad Kimball, Terrance Mann, Julia Murney and Michael Potts) at the finale.

Also performing numbers from previous The Actors’ Fund concerts will be Frenchie Davis ("And I Am Telling You" from Dreamgirls), Darius De Haas ("Who Are You Now from Funny Girl), Jonathan Dokutchitz ("Anthem" from Chess), Shayna Steele ("White Boys" from Hair) and The Producers' Brad Oscar and company performing the title song from On The Twentieth Century. This year's "Broadway in Bryant Park" participants included Musical of Musicals – The Musical!, Mamma Mia!, STOMP, The Phantom of the Opera, Hairspray, Beauty and the Beast, Altar Boyz, Once Around The Sun, Sweet Charity, Rent, Drumstruck, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Chicago, Wicked and A Dancers Responding to AIDS special presentation of "Broadway Dances for Life" with Spamalot's Christopher Sieber hosting performances by the upcoming "Rent" movie cast and Broadway dancers.
