"The pages of Crimp magazine are filled with put-together women living their lives to the fullest," press notes state. "The editorial offices are filled with something quite different. Ultimate Beauty Bible is a dark comedy about sex, death, accessories, city life, friendship, and lipstick — all the essentials for a fascinating existence."
Page 73 Productions is an Off-Broadway theatre company dedicated to developing and producing the work of early-career playwrights through a series of development opportunities, workshops, readings and fully produced productions. It received the League of Professional Theatre Women's 2008 Lucille Lortel Award for "innovative and creative work dedicated to the emerging dramatist."
The P73 Playwriting Fellowship, Page 73’s most prestigious development program, provides year-long comprehensive support to one early-career playwright who has not received wide public recognition nor substantial production opportunities in New York City. Through this program, Page 73 provides artistic and financial resources, as well as an honorarium of $10,000, to one emerging playwright as he or she develops one or more new plays.
The reading is free and open to the public, but reservations are required.
