Rogerandtom, by Julien Schwab, moves to the main stage at HERE, opening July 13 for a run through Aug. 24.
Directed by Nicholas Cotz, artistic director of Personal Space Theatrics, the cast features Suzy Jane Hunt (Dead Accounts), Eric T. Miller (Sweet Storm) and Richard Thieriot (Clybourne Park).
"Rogerandtom is a comedy about a man who has come to see the same show that the audience has, only to find out that he's actually a member of the cast," press notes state. "Much like an episode of 'The Twilight Zone,' the show’s only boundaries are between imagination and infinity. The play uses a twist to challenge the conventions of theatre while raising a series of profound questions about the role of theatre in theatre itself."
The creative team for rogerandtom includes David Esler (set design), Casey Smith (properties design), Chris Rummel (sound design), Holly Rihn (costume design) and Nastassia Jimenez (lighting design).

Holed up in a seedy motel on the edge of the Mojave Desert, two former lovers unpack the deep secrets and dark desires of their tangled relationship, passionately tearing each other apart. Led by director Daniel Aukin (Back Back Back at MTC, 4,000 Miles), Tony winner Nina Arianda (Venus in Fur at MTC, Born Yesterday) and Sam Rockwell (A Behanding in Spokane, The Way Way Back) bring an explosive intensity to Sam Shepard’s (Buried Child, True West) landmark myth of the new Wild West.
