Santino Fontana, Nancy Opel, Heidi Blickenstaff and More Perform at Tony's DiNapoli New Year's Eve Event Dec. 31
31 Dec 2012
James Moye (Silence! The Musical), Santino Fontana (Broadway's upcoming Cinderella), Tony nominee Nancy Opel (Urinetown) and Heidi Blickenstaff ([title of show]) are among the artists who take part in the annual New Year's Eve extravaganza at Tony's DiNapoli Dec. 31 in Times Square.
"There is no better spot in Times Square to enjoy great music and celebrate with friends and family, waiting for the New Year to arrive," said Moye, who hosts the event, in a statement. "We're happy to provide a great lineup of Broadway stars this New Year's Eve."
Holed up in a seedy motel on the edge of the Mojave Desert, two former lovers unpack the deep secrets and dark desires of their tangled relationship, passionately tearing each other apart. Led by director Daniel Aukin (Back Back Back at MTC, 4,000 Miles), Tony winner Nina Arianda (Venus in Fur at MTC, Born Yesterday) and Sam Rockwell (A Behanding in Spokane, The Way Way Back) bring an explosive intensity to Sam Shepard’s (Buried Child, True West) landmark myth of the new Wild West.
