According to press materials, Glover's style explores the idea of tap dance as a percussive instrument as he taps out a bass rhythm with one foot and simultaneously overlays complex riffs with the other in an awe-inspiring display of skill. In SoLe Sanctuary his reverence for the art of tap takes centre stage.
Glover made his Broadway debut at the age of ten in The Tap Dance Kid, and won a Tony Award in 1996 for Bring in 'Da Noise, Bring in 'Da Funk. He was co-choreographer and performed the tapping feet for Mumble, the tap-dancing penguin, in the Academy Award-winning film "Happy Feet."
