"She's Funny That Way," the upcoming Peter Bogdanovich comedy about the life of a married Broadway director who falls in love with a former prostitute, will star Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The film, previously titled "Squirrels To Nuts," will also include Jason Schwartzman, Cybil Shepherd, Eugene Levy, Kathryn Hahn and Brie Lawson. Aniston will play a therapist whose mother is in rehab for alcoholism.
The project, which features a screenplay by Bogdanovich and Louise Stratten, is set to begin principal photography in June in New York City.
Wes Anderson and Noah Baumbach will produce the project.
Holed up in a seedy motel on the edge of the Mojave Desert, two former lovers unpack the deep secrets and dark desires of their tangled relationship, passionately tearing each other apart. Led by director Daniel Aukin (Back Back Back at MTC, 4,000 Miles), Tony winner Nina Arianda (Venus in Fur at MTC, Born Yesterday) and Sam Rockwell (A Behanding in Spokane, The Way Way Back) bring an explosive intensity to Sam Shepard’s (Buried Child, True West) landmark myth of the new Wild West.
