Producers Betty Ann Besch Solinger and Alice Chebba Walsh will present private staged readings of Sense & Sensibility The Musical June 12-13 in New York.

Sense & Sensibility, which made its world premiere in 2013 at the Denver Center Theatre Company, has a book and lyrics by Jeffrey Haddow, music by Neal Hampton and direction and musical staging by Tony Award nominee Marcia Milgrom Dodge.

The cast will feature Paul Binotto, Sierra Boggess, Michael Campayno, Daniella Dalli, Laura Darrell, Matt Farcher, David Garrison, Joanna Glushak, Josh Grisetti, Robyn Hurder, Charlotte Maltby, Marissa McGowan, Greg Mills, Trista Moldovan, Cass Morgan, Liz Pearce, Robert Petkoff, Steve Rosen, John Scherer and Josh Walden.

The musical, based on the Jane Austen novel, is described as such: "Enter the world of the Dashwood sisters: Elinor, reserved and rational to a fault, and Marianne, wildly romantic and emotionally uninhibited, as they struggle to cope with their father's death."

The Denver production featured direction and choreography by Dodge, scenic design by Allen Moyer, costume design by ESosa, lighting design by James F. Ingalls, sound design by Craig Breitenback and orchestrations by Kim Scharnberg and Neal Hampton.

Sense & Sensibility is stage-managed by Peter Lawrence and Lisa Chernoff. Snug Harbor Productions serves as general manager.
