Playbill.com's series features actors commenting on their recent theatregoing experiences, what productions they're looking forward to and more.

Here, via email, we hear from Broadway singing actress Caroline Bowman, who is currently starring in the title role of the national tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's Evita.

What show recently impressed you?
I haven't been available to see too many shows, unfortunately, especially in New York. I have had the opportunity to support a couple friends while on the road. I saw the second national tour cast of Book of Mormon in Chicago while I was there, and that cast was sensational. I also recently had the chance to see Smokey Joe's Café at Arena State in Washington, D.C., and that was a phenomenal production. I was equally inspired by both. I love being able to see my friends doing what they love.

What production are you most excited to see?
So many things….I cannot wait to see Beautiful. I love Carole King and Jessie Mueller, and one of my very best friends, Alan Wiggins, is in it, so I'm dying to see it. Also, Rocky, If/Then and Violet are others on the top of my list.

What play/musical would you most like to revive on Broadway, and which role would you want to play?
There are many shows that come to mind, but something I've been thinking about lately is My Fair Lady. I'd love to play Eliza Doolittle. I'm not sure I would be an obvious choice, which might make for an interesting revival.

What are your current/upcoming projects?
Currently, I am playing Eva Peron in the Evita first national tour and loving my life. Upcoming projects: Yes, please. Can't wait.
